Front End Web Designer required for a permanent position for our client a leading Insurance company based in London. This role involves designing a number of corporate websites, microsites and intranet sites. We are looking for a candidate who has a flair for creative web design but is also able to assimilate this into an optimised user interface using skills such as HTML/CSS and JavaScript. Essential skills 5 years experience designing and creating commercial websites Experience creating wireframes and/or prototypes Adobe Flash Adobe Photoshop or Illustrator CSS, XHTML Experience of working to W3C guidelines JavaScript to a very high standard including the use of frameworks such as jQuery / Prototype / Rico The successful candidate should have solid online design skills along with a proven track record of delivering rich user interfaces which focus on user experience and accessibility standards.
