Web Business Analyst, eCommerce Delivery, Web Transactional Systems, Investment Management; A global Investment Specialist now requires a Web Business Analyst with strong knowledge of web and web transactional systems. Please note this role is up to Management level. The Business Analyst role is to work closely with their business colleagues to define requirements and then to liaise with the systems analysts and development teams to develop solutions to meet these. It is vital that as well as looking towards new developments or package solutions they also think creatively about systems already in place and reuse of these. In addition they should look at the functionality to be delivered from a customers perspective, is it the right functionality and easy to use. They should be able to run workshops, prepare professional documentation, provide a bridge between business and systems and be skilled in the art of pushing-back as and when required. The key aspects of this role are (not limited to): and#x2022; Engaging with Senior Users to understand, develop, extend and clearly define their business problems, business requirements and when required representing these in Concepts. and#x2022; Working closely with Web Information Architects and User Design Specialists to provide a comprehensive view of the project deliverables and explain the business requirements and any limitations there may be to the designs and#x2022; Identifying and evaluating process options to address business problems and#x2022; Liaising with solution architects and systems analysts to develop alternative solutions Core and soft skills and#x2022; Liaising with Customers in the business in a proactive and challenging manner. and#x2022; Strong analysis skills, with an emphasis on shaping business requirements into systems and application solutions. and#x2022; Strong knowledge of web and web transactional systems and#x2022; Excellent communication skills at all levels. and#x2022; Excellent understanding of the web and how clients/customers use it. and#x2022; Work well under pressure and in a challenging fast paced environment and#x2022; Broad base of systems and technology delivery experience. Technical expertise and#x2022; Experience of web technologies including content management systems. and#x2022; Practical experience of the asset management industry standard practises in the business analysis arena. and#x2022; Experience of the mutual fund and/or pensions business is preferred, however applicants from other financial disciplines will be considered.
