Infrastructure Technical Architect - Platform and Storage Hertfordshire - Solaris 8,9 and 10, SUN F15K/F25K, Sun Cluster, Brocade Switches, EMC Symmetrix, Clarion, Jumpstart A leading financial organisation requires an Infrastructure Technical Architect to lead both the high-level and detailed technical design for Unix Systems and Storage. The role will be the Technical/ Design authority for all Unix systems and Storage. The role: You will define the technical, functional and non0-functional requirements for all Unix systems and Storage. You will ensure that all platforms and storage have the appropriate management and operational tools and procedures required for their successful operation and you will provide the technical architecture and design lead for all the development of all new platforms and storage to support the delivery of all IT Projects. Technical Capabilities Experience in a demanding, high availability environment Solaris 8,9 and10 Soalris x86, SUN F15K/ F25K, SUN Cluster 3.0 and 3.1 SUN M5000 and x86 Platforms, HDS Lightening Range, Brocade Switches and Directors SAN Design, EMC Symmetrix and Clarion Range Solaris DiskSuite, Vertias Netbackup andVolume Manager for backup design, Shell scripting, Perl, awk, VMWare v3 and4 HP Blade Desirable Large scale storage migrations preferably with Open Replicator technology, Weblogic, Oracle and ASM J2ee Architecture HP Opsware Send your Application for this Job by using the 'Apply' link below. |
