Senior Cisco Network Engineer - London, Bank, Hedge Fund - Cisco, IOS, BGP, OSPF, Multicast, IPSec, VPNs, ASA, Juniper, Fortinet, CiscoWorks Candidates should come from highly mission critical arenas such as Investment Banks, Hedge Funds, large E-Commerce organisations, eGaming, Online Betting, or Telecoms companies such as O2, Vodafone etc - Candidates without this background WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. My client is one of the most ambitious and fastest growing Hedge Fund businesses in Europe. Having started out around 2 years ago, they now number over 100 staff and have attracted top talent in both business functions and technology from some of the most recognisable names in the industry. They have a commitment to technology and rely on the automated trading systems. This strong growth has meant that their current trading function requires further support for both operational and project networks issues. They are therefore looking for candidates who have a career background based around highly mission-critical network infrastructure where downtime is not permitted. Essential skills / background includes; CCNP (ideally CCIE), Cisco Routers and Switches, IOS, BGP, OSPF, Multicast, PIM, IPSEC, SSL VPNs, Firewalls, Security products (Cisco ASA / Juniper Netscreen or Fortinet), CiscoWorks and strong troubleshooting skills. Desirable skills; Structured cabling, datacentre infrastructure, racking and stacking, network test equipment such as IXIA, Cisco Call Manager / Unity, DataCenter products such as Equinix or Telehouse, CWDM, DWDM or Ciena products.
