Senior Oracle BI Solution Designer (Siebel Analytics) - London. Our forward thinking Client are looking to ramp up their Oracle Business Intelligence with the addition of an experienced Senior OBI Solution Designer to join their Business Intelligence project team. You will join the respected team that the IT Director regards as a key part to developing the business where substantial budgets have been set aside for 2010-2012. The requirement is for a talented OBI Solution Designer who has commercial and proven experience of converting business requirements into high quality solution designs using Oracle Business Intelligence and ETL mappings. You will be given autonomy to liaise with Business stakeholders, Implementation Managers, Solution Architects and Business Analysts to ensure that the most successful results are attained. Your key duties will be: Taking responsibility for the Design and to implement solutions for business requirements using physical, business and presentation layer of the OBI repository. Design the dashboards and ad hoc reports using Oracle Answers. Interface with the business to ensure that the most successful results can be attained. Support and work with development team; review development and testing. Be a champion for hands on development of OBI solutions, if required. Analyse and resolve complex data migration issues. Performance improvement of data interfaces for complex entities and large volumes. To be considered for this excellent opportunity, you must meet or exceed these minimum requirements: Carried out the duties of a Solution Designer on multiple OBI projects. Experience and confidence of liaising with stake holders and senior projects members. Strong commercial experience of OBI and ETL mappings to extract and load into OBI. Experience of migrating data volumes (in millions)and resolving related issues.
