My client, a large complex Government organisation based in South East/Home Counties have an immediate requirement for a SAP BW/Bi Support Analyst. The role requires the successful applicant to be responsible for the provision of technical support and direction to all SAP users and fellow SAP team members, for the analysts primary SAP module of responsibility on daily basis. Responsibilities include; 1.To contribute to the development of SAP to meet the requirements of the organisation and to maximise the effectiveness of the system by ensuring all users are properly trained and supported in their use of SAP. 2.Receive, monitor and successfully resolve customersand#x2019; queries from the ICT Service Desk. 3.Deliver specialist training programmes on SAP in a group or individual basis 4.Development and maintenance of SAP User Guides (Step-by-Step Guides, Training materials and Standard Operating manuals) 5.Monitor and control of business data eg purchase order release tables and purchase ledger codes. Provide support to banking to accounts payable and receivable. 6.Consult with process owners and users to determine ways to improve business processes through better use of ICT, training and new ways of working 7.Provide assistance and support in developing and testing of modifications, patch upgrades and version upgrades to SAP 8.Co-ordinate and monitor User Acceptance Training 9.Provide guidance and support to staff in completing change requests and change controls 10Identifying user and#x2018;problem areasand#x2019; and developing action plans to address the issues. 11Effective communication of business process amendments to all relevant managers and ensuring a seamless transition of changes into the Live Production Systems. (Manage process interface into SAP) There are over 800 SAP Users who use the system for transaction processing, maintaining master data and for reporting purposes. All these Users require both adequate training and support to enable them to use SAP effectively In order to be successful you are required to have the following; 1.ITIL Certificate in Service Delivery OR 2.Prince2 Foundation and#x2013; or working towards within 12 months OR 3.Educated to and#x2018;Aand#x2019; level /BTEC standard or equivalent 1.Experience working in ICT 2.A thorough Understanding of the appropriate SAP modules, together with an overview of how the system operates in the context of the other service areas 3.Experience in demonstrating technical expertise alongside understanding the priorities of the business 4.Knowledge of policies, procedures and systems within the organisation that effect the way the job is carried out eg security policies, Data Protection Act, Freedom of Information, accountancy standards, the financial standard orders 5.Experience of Government organisation and working practices. this position is moving very quickly so please send your updated resumes only in the first instance.
