| Job Description: |
A new opportunity to join this well known international brand. You will help to ensure the integrity, performance and availability of the live website; help ensure that new developments and products are deployed to schedule; Liaise with Infrastructure Teams to ensure that the necessary computing resources are available to support the site. You should offer knowledge of ITIL, Capacity Planning. Load Testing, managing test environments, Oracle/MySQL databases and Linux / Unix systems. In addition you should have experience in website and internet technology and preferably experience of PHP, Java, Perl, HTML, JavaScript and other web technologies. Familiarity with Load Balancers, Open Source Technologies, web and application servers would be useful. You should be a very strong communicator. Should be comfortable explaining difficult technical issues to Marketing, Customer Service and IT managers taking into account the knowledge of the intended audience.
