Desktop Support Manager required for the UK office of a global retail brand based in Hammersmith London, W6 paying upto 35k As the Desktop Support Manager you will be responsible for the day to day front end, support of 40 in house users, 20 remote users and 7 further sites, THIS IS NOT A MAN MANAGEMENT POSITION. We are seeking someone who has demonstrated a proactive approach to IT Support, who is willing to make themselves an expert in areas of MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint as well as some bespoke accounting and report writing applications and then able to train and develop the end users skills. As the IT Manager you should want to understand what each and every person in the company does and look at how IT can assist them in improving their role, through training or even further investment. You will report into the UK Finance Director and your responsibility will be for all 1st and 2nd line IT Support including moves and changes as well as the telephone system. You will be responsible for administering the internal intranet as well as users access rights and privileges using Active Directory. You will liaise with the European HQ for all Server issues. This is a lively, bubbly and energetic company that have increased the UK revenue from 700k to 34 million in the last 7 years with a growth last year of 40%.
