My client provides marketing solutions for major B2B and B2C brands UK wide. The successful candidate will be working inside a highly dynamic, fast paced and energetic sales orientated environment. My client provides sophisticated database marketing and analytical services, supported by a range of advanced contact options including call centre, direct mail and e-mail. Analytic Responsibilities: As part of the analytical team, you will have the chance to work on both data projects and outbound contact campaigns. You will use a variety of analytical approaches such as: Customer Profiling - used to advise on data selection/ prioritisation Predictive Modeling - used in many different ways from selection to optimisation Segmentation - using transactional activity to create RFM segmentation Product Analysis - advising clients on what and how their customers buy Territory Mapping - creating maps to advise clients on market opportunity In addition to this, we provide ad hoc support to both internal and external clients that will not be readily covered by the above Project Management You will be required to take an active role in the creation and execution of analytical projects, being fully involved in the end-to-end processes of client acquisition and development Client meetings Take an active role in presenting back analysis to clients, as well as providing a supporting role to my clientand#x2019;s sales teams Innovation Adding to new and existing analysis ideas, working to improve packaging and presentation of our analytical and strategic offerings. The role involves regular contact with a range of teams within both the data and contact functions of my client, as well as direct contact with clients and travel to present results. Skills: - Good degree and/or MSc in Maths, Statistics, Economics, or any other degree with significant numerical content - Good level of competency in Excel, Access, Word and PowerPoint - Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain complex ideas to non-technical people - Experience of interrogating data and presenting practical recommendations - Experience of dealing with internal and external customers at various levels is desirable - Experience working in SQL Server or a similar RDBMS is desirable - Experience with specialist modelling or data mining packages such as SPSS, Clementine or SAS is desirable - Proven experience working as an analyst would be an advantage Send your Application for this Job by using the 'Apply' link below. |
