Cisco Network Engineer required by a leading gaming company in Central London. Role - Cisco Network Engineer Location and#x2013; Central London Salary and#x2013; Up to 45,000 + on call allowance (worth between 6000 and 9000) + benefits Skills and#x2013; Cisco, Linux (ideally RedHat) or Unix, DNS, DHCP, some knowledge of VMWare The Cisco Network Engineer will have an excellent Cisco background (in terms of design, supporting and developing networks), a knowledge and understanding of Linux (ideally RedHat) or Unix, strong DNS and DHCP experience, some knowledge of VMWare and experience of network management systems (ideally Nagios or Cacti). The successful applicant should also have, or has previously obtained, a Cisco qualification (CCNP as a minimum). Knowledge of Alteon, Nortel load balancers, CallManager, CallManager Express or Asterisk is desirable but not essential. Your role will be to join a team of 3rd line support engineers, providing 24x7 support and development of the company network.
