A Portfolio Head is required by a leading Retail and Investment Bank to play a key role within the deployment of new software, infrastructure and information systems. This is an excellent opening for Senior Programme Managers and Senior Portfolio Managers who have demonstrable experience within a similar Portfolio Head position where you will have delivered Retail Banking Infrastructure solutions. The successful Portfolio Head will be accountable for supervising all activities relating to the deployment of new infrastructure solutions while also managing multiple teams of developers, designers and testers - taking performance management responsibility of your direct reports. Developing relationships with the specific Technology offices to manage multiple client expectations, you will work with multiple Project and Programme Managers to ensure the effective development and delivery within required project timescales and budget constraints. Your main accountabilities wi ll be: Relationship Management, Delivery and Supplier Management and the Transition into Run/Production. Interested candidates must be able to demonstrate Enterprise level experience within the Financial Services Industry where you will have led portfolios of work involving the management and multiple Programme and Project Managers. You will excellent financial acumen and have demonstrable experience of managing projects valued at 5million+.
