Project Manager, Technology, Customer Facing, Investment Management, $5m Projects; A globally renowned Investment Specialist, requires a Project Manager to manage projects (typically with budgets of up to $5m and team sizes of up to 15 people) from proposal stage through to implementation. The Project Manager will work within the Technology function who provide IT services to the global business. These include the development and support of business applications that underpin their revenue, operational, compliance, finance, legal, marketing and customer services functions. Skills and Experience:- * Experience managing projects through the whole project life-cycle; * Excellent communication, documentation and presentation skills; * Good customer awareness, with ability to manage customer expectations; * Strong interpersonal skills and excellent client facing skills; * Ability to manage complex client relationships with a focus on customer service; * Excellent planning and organisational skills; On the job experience:- * Proven track record of successful project implementation; * Experience of the whole project life-cycle, able to operate in the initial conceptual design stage, in the depths of system testing, and at each stage in between; * Team management experience, comfortable matrix managing project teams; Background in analysis or development, with sound technical understanding; * Practical experience of management and motivation of teams; * Good finance industry knowledge - ideally working in the area of Investment Management; Benefits include a 25% bonus potential + a strong DB Pension scheme.
