My client provides marketing solutions for major B2B and B2C brands UK wide. The successful candidate will be working inside a highly dynamic, fast paced and energetic environment. My client provides sophisticated database marketing and analytical services, supported by a range of advanced contact options including call centre, direct mail and e-mail. The team that the successful candidate will be working in is responsible for the Maintenance and Development of Client and Internal databases. The position available is within the core data management team, working with large blue-chip clients and will give the candidate the opportunity to gain valuable client facing experience as a SQL Data Developer/Manager. My client is looking for a friendly candidate who is capable of working alone and in a team environment; good written and verbal skills are essential as well as some flexibility. Role Responsibilities: Maintaining internal databases Ensuring data is accurate Development, maintenance and fulfilment of data loading Extracting of data feeds from a Central Marketing Database Communication, from briefing stage through to data delivery with results reporting. Including: oNew data audit findings oCampaign results reporting oList performance reports oAnalysis reports Essential Technical Skills Proven track record of delivering against client (internal and external) assignments which provide timescale challenges Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008 Excellent T-SQL programming skills Experience with creation of stored procedures ocreation of functions oindexing techniques An understanding of the fundamentals of Data Management A strong understanding of normalisation and RDBMS Experience of working in an operational environment Commercial experience of the Direct Marketing industry preferred The candidate will also be responsible for some Analysis responsibilities such as reports: Analysing client requirements and developing solutions To assist the Client Account Managers and Analysis Team Updating and continually improving production processes Meeting and managing client deadlines Exciting role within a young team with a broad range of career development options For more information please contact Kyle Rance at Elan IT on 0113 201 0322 / 07887 515 003 (After 6PM) Send your Application for this Job by using the 'Apply' link below. |
